First article by Vincent Laganier

« 1 m2 de paysage »

an interactive scenography

I began writing articles for AS – Actualité de la Scénographie – at the start of 1997. This was at the request of the editor-in-chief, Michel Gladyrewsky, following my press dossier on the exhibition "1 m² of Landscape": forty 1 x 1 metre paintings by various artists, all on the theme of landscape. At that time, everything was still in print format, and I sent the dossier to several professional publications.

The article focused on my lighting design concept for the interactive lighting of this exhibition. This was an experimental project, realised with the support of the ARC – Art et Culture association – in Rezé closed to Nantes in Bretagne. Location was the black box of Massimiliano Fuksas’ Espace Diderot.

Since this article was published, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Michel Gladyrewsky for allowing me to continue contributing to AS magazine, covering around ten different topics, and then commissioning my first book: Lumières architecturales en France.

Discover my passion for words and for meeting people through:
• interviews with professionals in these fields,
• reports on projects around the world,br> • reference articles that offer cross-disciplinary analysis and synthesis on various themes.
